Assessment Information for License Year 2026
Dear Referees,
Assessments can be requested for upgrade or maintenance for Regional or National for License Year 2026 starting with License Year 2025 (July 1,2024). We encourage you to get these done earlier then later. Assessments need to be wrapped up by end of June. There is a cost associated with these Assessments that needs to be received once you are billed. Please submit your request at least 2 weeks prior to assessment date, if it is not submitted 2 weeks prior, we cannot guarantee it will be covered.
Assessments are done between July 1st to June 30th during License Year 2025 to upgrade or maintain for the following License Year (2026).
For Upgrade to Regional: please email us your game counts to jenny@ilsoccerrefs.org. This needs to be received before you can request an upgrade assessment. 25 Centering and 15 Assistant Refereeing at the adult amateur level. Game Counts can be done in excel; please include date, age group, Referee or Assistant Referee and name of Assignor.
Assessment Fees July 1st through April 30th:
Referee Development: $75.00
Regional Upgrade/Maintenance: $80.00
National Upgrade/Maintenance: $100.00
Assessment Fees May 1st through May 31st:
Referee Development: $75.00
Regional Upgrade/Maintenance: $105.00
National Upgrade/Maintenance: $125.00
Assessment Fees June 1st through June 30th:
Referee Development: $75.00
Regional Upgrade/Maintenance: $130.00
National Upgrade/Maintenance: $150.00
